Modern Irrigation & Plumbing Supplies started up as a small business in Grey Avenue Vereeniging in 1966.
Fifteen years later the business was taken over by new management, the current Director, Mr. J.G.H. Konig (Shareholders: Edward Britt & Mikael Mofokeng).
Because of their passion and pioneering skills, they were in a need of a bigger premises. In March 2006 the new business was opened at the corner of Houtkop Road and Van Riet Lowe Street in Duncanville Vereeniging. The much larger premises allows the company to carry much larger stock volumes and a bigger range of products. A Large parking area offers customers to view all the latest bathroom ware, light fittings and local tiles on the market. Today Modern Irrigation & Plumbing Supplies is one of the largest suppliers of plumbing material in the Vaal Triangle area, we also supply to large and small contractors, several RDP (Rural Development Project) projects, retailers and plumbers. In 2008 Modern Irrigation received the BEE certificate as a level five contributor with an 80% procurement recognition level.
Modern irrigation has also received certificates for the support in the fight against crime on numerous occasions. Our fleet allows us to deliver and collect any quantities nationwide.
